Vertical Efficiency
MODULA® System Logistics manufactures vertical and horizontal high density storage systems called MODULA® and CUBE® respectively. These systems consist of two rows of supports which contain trays that are transported by an automated elevator from the supports to the picking bay. The elevator moves vertically in the center between the two rows of supports. The high density storage warehouse is controlled by a hardware and software system that is efficient and easy to use. MODULA® automatic storage system consists of a completely modular structure and can be up to 46 feet high to exploit the maximum available height in the building. MODULA® is controlled by SYSTORE® software and allows an elevated storage density and a large
Modular Vertical Lifts MVL (also known as a Vertical Reciprocating Conveyors or VRC) are an extremely efficient, common sense solution for easy access to multiple floors/levels within any type of facility. In some conditions, they are also effective in outdoor applications. These material lifts are constructed from structural steel utilizing a 100% duty-cycle brake motor mounted at the top of the unit. The low noise all-mechanical drive system safely transports the carriage and the load with ease by means of dual lifting cables. Our unique design helps to reduce installation time and provide a reliable means for moving material to a mezzanine or multiple floors/levels. These lifts require very little maintenance and have increased longevity over hydraulic lifts. These cable operated lifts are equipped with broken cable brakes to prevent the carriage from falling in the unlikely event of a cable failure. Mechanical interlocks prevent doors from being opened when the carriage is not present at that level. An electric brake motor secures the carriage in the event of a power failure and prevents the platform from drifting. Operation is controlled by a Call/Send Station mounted next to each door at each level. Each station is also equipped with a large E-Stop button to stop the unit in an emergency. Safety enclosures are built into the structure adding rigidity and enhanced security. These lifts are fully enclosed to reject a 2" diameter ball as required by code. Vertical Reciprocating Conveyors (VRC) are designed to meet or exceed ANSI/ASME B20.1 Safety Standards for Conveyors.
